ChaiConnect

ChaiConnects are our signature programs. These are gatherings where we engage in meaningful conversation on a selected topic of interest, specifically tailored for the needs of South Asian women. ChaiConnect is a space for multigenerational discussion on conversations that we need to have. Discussion topics are centered on various wellness, mental health, family, career and societal issues. The meeting format will vary to accommodate diverse preferences: roundtable discussions, guest speakers and panelists. Sometimes we’ll also use film, literature or music to enrich our conversation.

We love the "mirrors & windows" concept popularly used in literature & this term applies to ChaiConnect programs as well. While the content is designed for South Asian women, our programs are "mirrors & windows" programs. They serve as a "mirror" for South Asian women to "see" themselves in the program & a "window" for friends & family of South Asian women to look through & learn a new perspective.

ChaiKids

ChaiKids programs incorporate storytime, arts, crafts, music and other kid-friendly activities. ChaiKids programs provide both mirrors & windows into South Asian culture for children. Programs are designed for South Asian children to "see" themselves in the program & for non-South Asian children to learn about the South Asian culture.

Chai & Co.

Chai & Co. learning & development programs are intended to center the South Asian experience in counseling education & training. This includes South Asian clinicians, professionals, storytellers & narratives. Facilitated by a licensed counselor, Chai & Co. programs are designed for individuals & organizations (South Asian & non-South Asian) invested in learning through a South Asian lens.
